Our Story To Date

The reason we are here today
Connect Australia was established in 2017. The initial aim of Connect Australia was to create a community-based hub from which we would be able to offer a variety of programs, experiences and opportunities for local community members to come together and connect.
Tackling Mental Health issues derived from isolation, disconnect and financial hardship. Our first community hub situated in a cafe, has given local community members a safe space in which to establish connections, develop new friendships and participate in activities that help strengthen the mind and nourish the soul.

Our First Chapter..         Alkimos Connect Hub

2018 Marks The Opening Of Our First Hub
Kicking off our operations is the Alkimos Connect Hub, located in Perth's Northern Suburbs. As our first and trial hub we set out to establish community connections through programs which encourage positive relationships and inclusive activity.

Identifying current issues in our community is key to developing and introducing activities which are relevant, specific and targeted! We aim to connect people to current services,  provide positive productive activity and activate programs to reach those who aren't being touched.

Our methods maybe new age but our goals are the same. We want to reduce anxiety, depression, self harm and suicide in local communities. Assisting people to find purpose, connection and new solutions. Encouraging each individual to commit time and energy to connect with each other.
